The Joyful Death Institute is a Death Doula Service based out of Oakland, California, on Ohlone Territory, in the United States of America, but serves humans globally.

It was started by Rev Jessica Sharp with the aim of helping individuals and families towards a joyful, dignified, and peaceful death experience. She combined her Clairvoyant Healing Ministry from Psychic Horizons, Crisis Management Planning background, and Himalayan Buddhist understanding to create the foundational pillars for the Institute.

Rev Jessica Sharp, and the other ministers providing healing services have received training from Psychic Horizons, based in San Francisco, California.

At the Joyful Death Institute, we know that death is an inherently joyful, peaceful, and wonderful experience, when it is allowed to be. We promote mindfulness, peace, and non-violence. We bring healing with the release of fear, the permission for clarity and ease, the practice of humility in the face of the Great Unknown, and we enable deep reconciliation.
